What happens when everything comes to you?
At Neituri you never go anywhere. The forest begins at the doorstep and the lake is in front of the house. Huskies, boats, fishing tackle, snowshoes and guides all arrive at the estate. Your only task is to step outside, while the host, manor staff and concierge handle the rest, present only when wanted.
What is there to do in winter?
Husky teams come to the manor and take you across the frozen lake. There are forest trails for snowshoes and skis straight from the door, and ice fishing on the lake with a guide who knows the water. The day ends the Finnish way, with sauna, an ice hole for the brave, and dinner by the fire. A host, manor staff and a concierge arrange each activity in advance so nothing needs planning once you are on the estate.
And in summer?
Boating to empty islands, swimming from the jetty, fishing for pike and perch, and forest walks that can take all day without meeting anyone. In season, hunting can be arranged within the legal periods. Long evenings on the terrace or by the shore follow naturally once the day's activity is done. The host coordinates timing and equipment so the pace stays entirely yours.
Do we need to bring or arrange anything?
No. Tackle, boats, skis and guides are arranged for you, and meals are timed around the day you actually had. Tell the host what you enjoy and the stay shapes itself around it. Manor staff and the concierge look after the practical details, present only when wanted and otherwise out of sight. Requests can be made before arrival or at any point during the stay.

The lake provides, as it always has.
The lake has fed this shore for centuries. What is caught in the morning can be on the table by evening, prepared by the chef in the way the season asks.

Tell us who is coming, and when.
Neituri is let to one party at a time, so every stay begins with a conversation rather than a booking engine. Send your dates and party size and you will hear back within one working day.
