What does a private chef do with a Finnish lake?
Every stay at Neituri includes a private chef and all meals. Menus are written for your party alone, built on what the lake and the forest are offering that week. Fish from the lake, mushrooms and berries from the estate, game in season.
Where do meals happen?
Wherever the day ends. The long table in the dining hall, the tavern for slow evenings, the terrace in summer, or the shore by an open fire. The kitchen follows the day rather than a fixed timetable, so a late return from the lake simply shifts dinner rather than disrupting it. The host and manor staff set each table according to where the party wants to be.
What if someone in our party has dietary needs?
Tell us in advance and the chef plans around them. Vegetarian, allergies, children's plates and celebrations are all accommodated as a matter of course. Because one party is served at a time, the menu is written for you and no one else, with no shared kitchen to compromise. Any changes during the stay can simply be mentioned to the host.
What about drinks?
A considered cellar, Finnish craft producers, and whatever you would like waiting on arrival. Evenings at Neituri tend to be long, and the tavern was built for exactly that kind of unhurried gathering. The concierge can arrange specific bottles or preferences ahead of your stay. Staff pour and clear only when wanted, keeping the evening relaxed rather than served.

The forest and the lake decide the menu.
The seasons here are short and decisive. New potatoes and lake fish in summer. Chanterelles and game in autumn. Preserves and slow cooking through the winter. The chef works with what the week offers, and that is the whole philosophy.

Neituri is let to one party at a time, so every stay begins with a conversation rather than a booking engine. Send your dates and party size and you will hear back within one working day.
