Questions & answers
What do guests ask before coming?
The questions below are the ones we hear most often. If yours is not among them, ask it directly. Every stay begins with a conversation anyway.
What is Neituri Manor?
Neituri Manor is a private-use estate in Konnevesi, Central Finland, completed in 2025. The house is 996 square metres over two floors, standing on 22 hectares of private forest and shoreline. Eight suites sleep up to sixteen guests, and the whole estate is let to one party at a time. Stays are arranged by request, with a host, a private chef and a concierge included.
Is Neituri Manor entirely private?
Yes. The whole estate, all 22 hectares, is let to one party at a time. There are no other guests, no shared spaces and no passing visitors. The sauna, the jetty, the tavern and the forest belong to your party alone. Even the house team stays present only when you want it.
How many guests can stay at Neituri?
Eight suites sleep up to sixteen guests in real comfort. Every suite has its own bathroom, and most look onto the water or the forest behind the house. A party of two has exactly the same house as a party of sixteen. The dining hall seats the whole party at one table.
Where exactly is Neituri Manor?
In Konnevesi, Central Finland, on the shore of the lake. It is about one hour by car from Jyväskylä airport and 1 h 25 min from Kuopio airport. From Helsinki the drive takes around four hours. A helicopter with our partner Helsinki Citycopter brings you from Helsinki in about an hour.
What is included in a stay?
The entire estate, with a host, a private chef and manor staff, for your party alone. All meals are included and the menus are written with you before you arrive. A concierge helps arrange the days, meals and any requests, staying in the background unless called on. Transfers, the helicopter flight and special experiences are arranged and priced separately.
Who looks after us during the stay?
A host, manor staff and a concierge work together to look after comfort and privacy throughout your visit. The host oversees the stay as a whole, manor staff keep the house running quietly, and the concierge arranges days, meals and any particular requests you raise. They are present only when wanted, and step back the moment a party prefers to be left alone. Nothing about the arrangement is intrusive; it exists so that nothing needs organising by you.
Can we bring children or dogs?
Both are welcome. The forest and shoreline are made for children, and the house is at ease with dogs. Tell us who is coming and the rooms, the meals and the days are prepared accordingly. Nothing here is too precious to be lived in.
When is the best time to visit?
There is no wrong season at Neituri. Winter brings deep snow, the frozen lake and dark skies; summer brings white nights and warm water. Autumn is colour, mushrooms and quiet, and spring is breaking ice and returning light. Each season is a different manor, so choose by the mood you are after.
How far in advance should we enquire?
Three to six months ahead is typical, but it is always worth asking. One party at a time means the calendar fills in single strokes rather than in single rooms. Shorter notice is sometimes possible, especially outside the busiest weeks. Send your dates and you will hear what is open.
Is there a minimum stay?
Three nights is the shortest stay that feels unhurried. Most parties stay four to seven nights, and longer stays are welcome. The first day is arrival and settling, and the rhythm of the place only appears after that. Rates depend on the season, the length and the size of your party.

Ask us anything.
Neituri is let to one party at a time, so every stay begins with a conversation rather than a booking engine. Send your dates and party size and you will hear back within one working day.
