Sauna & wellness
Where does the Finnish evening really begin?
In Finland the sauna is not an amenity. It is the evening. At Neituri the sauna stands by the lake, hot when you want it, with a swim from the private jetty in summer and an ice hole in winter. Nothing is booked, nothing is shared.
Is the sauna private?
Entirely. One party at a time means the sauna, the terrace and the shoreline belong to your party alone, every evening of your stay. There is no booking system and no rota to work around, because no other guests are ever on the estate. The host can have the sauna warm and waiting whenever you ask. Manor staff keep it ready without ever intruding on your evening.
Can we swim in the lake?
Yes, straight from the jetty in front of the house. In summer the water warms enough for long, unhurried swims after the sauna. In winter an ice hole is kept open for those who want the sharpest form of calm there is. The concierge can arrange towels, robes and warm drinks at the shore so the whole ritual stays effortless.
What about treatments?
Massage and other treatments can be arranged at the manor with local practitioners. Tell the host what you need, whether that is a single session or treatments for the whole party, and it will be waiting when you are. Timing is built around your days rather than a fixed schedule. Everything is arranged in advance so nothing needs organising once you have arrived.

Hot, cold, quiet. That is the whole ritual.
The rhythm is old and simple. Heat until the day leaves you, cold water until you are entirely awake, then stillness by the shore. Finns have ended their days this way for a thousand years. It works.

Tell us who is coming, and when.
Neituri is let to one party at a time, so every stay begins with a conversation rather than a booking engine. Send your dates and party size and you will hear back within one working day.
